Wood And Glass "Mini Cabinets" Two mini cabinets side by side. Photo and copyright Peter Knego 2005.
Light But Sturdy Wooden Frames Star Patterned Glass 23.5 Inches Tall 22 Inches Wide 13 Inches Deep Priced Individually
Unlike most of the items on this site, these lovely little cabinets do not have a known provenance. I saw them at one trader's yard in early 2004 and purchased them immediately. The trader thought they came from a Japanese tanker, but which one will remain a mystery. Their construction and the pattern in the glass are very "early 60s retro", so I would guess them to be at least forty years old. I had five of these, but three sold before I could put them on the site. They would suit beautifully in a closet, mounted to the wall, or even in a bathroom.
The tan wood (oak?) veneered Cabinet One. Photo and copyright Peter Knego 2005.
Cabinet One: $200
This cabinet is in excellent condition and the woodwork, with a little Tung Oil, will shine beautifully.

The partially painted (redwood color) Cabinet Two. Photo and copyright Peter Knego 2005.
Cabinet Two: $150
This cabinet is in excellent condition but the front and right sides have been painted a mahogany color. The right side remains unpainted and shows the original tan wood veneer as seen on Cabinet One (above). There are also some bits of white paint smudges here and there on the glass and woodwork. Priced accordingly.
