I was only able to rescue two of these handsome maple framed ottomans from Incres VICTORIA when she hit the beach at Alang as VICTORIA I in late 2004. One stays in my archives and this one will hopefully go to a happy home where its provenance will be cherished. Rebuilt in 1959 from the Union-Caste liner DUNNOTTAR CASTLE, the VICTORIA was one of the most glamorous ships of her day and the design child of the one and only Gustavo Pulitzer-Finali.
