Intended as a “moving encyclopedia” of passenger ships, Peter Knego’s THE WORLD’s PASSENGER FLEET videos capture no less than fifty vessels in each hour long volume.  The series began in 1992, culminating in a total of nine episodes to date, with several more on the drawing boards.  Please note, VOLUME NINE is the only one currently available on DVD but prior editions will eventually be updated and reformatted.

THE WORLD’S PASSENGER FLEET, VOLUME NINE is dedicated to the die-hard ship enthusiast and provides a brief narrative with key statistics and historical footnotes about each ship covered.  The locales in this video span the world from Greece to India, Spain, Florida and California.  Vessels range from the mighty QUEEN MARY 2 on her maiden New York arrival to the sleek Croatian cruise vessel DALMACIJA and the onetime Italian express liner AUSONIA.  Watch the latest, state-of-the-art mega ships float by along with diminutive expedition ships and many old classics.
